Logan Export Seminars Feb-May 2010
If you are currently exporting or considering exporting, you can't afford to miss the upcoming export seminars in Logan commencing in February.
A number of Logan based companies are benefiting from exporting to various international markets. In partnership with Trade Queensland, the Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation (DEEDI), Australian Institute of Export (AIEx) and the Logan Office of Economic Development (LOED) will be hosting export information sessions targeted at companies that are considering export or have just started exporting over the past few years.
The aim of these sessions is to develop export capability and expand Logan based businesses offshore, either through direct export or licensing. The sessions will provide useful hints and advice from facilitators involved in export development and case studies from local exporters.
The first of these sessions is the AIEx Future Leaders of Export (FLEx) program designed to assist new exporters through round table discussions in dealing with export related issues and international trade. The event will be held at Springwood Tower on Tuesday 23 February (7am-9am) and includes a breakfast buffet. The confirmed speaker for the event is Mr Ian Murray and topics will include Exporting is For You (Trade Queensland) and an Overview of the FLEx Program (AIEx). Cost is $25 per person plus GST.
Trade Queensland will be running a series of Export events known as the Getting Export Smart Program for new and existing exporters. Dates for these seminars have been established and will be held at the Springwood Tower Hotel. Costs for the 4 event program are yet to be determined.
