Griffith University Industry Mentoring Program

8

New mentors needed to participate in this exciting new program. The Griffith University Industry Mentoring Program matches students with experienced professionals for a nationally recognised three-month mentoring program.

Commencing in late July 2010, the program contributes to student learning, career development and university-industry partnerships. With an aim to assist students to clarify their career objectives the program facilitates student transition from study to the workforce. Professionals interested in joining as a mentor typically have at least four years experience in their field. No formal training is required to participate and a mentoring workshop is offered prior to the commencement of the program. Special features of the Industry Mentoring Program are two major networking functions: a breakfast launch and a concluding cocktail function.
