The BizConnect Centre recently completed its first series of Thursday workshops for 2010 with 6 business owners completing the course. These workshops covered essential components of building and operating a successful business.
The BizConnect workshop series covers:-
- Business positioning - how your customer perceives your business;
- Media advertising - effective media practice;
- Lead Generation - creation or generation of prospective customers;
- Customer Conversion - identify and measure the link between your customers and your revenue;
- Critical Non-Essentials - important elements giving your business an extra advantage over your competitors;
- Referral Based Business - creating life-long customers; and
- Marketing Measurements - identify and rate how much of a products appeal is due to your marketing.

During the period between September 2008 and March 2010 the BizConnect Centre ran 714 workshops, with the sessions on 'Positioning' and 'Critical Non Essentials' proving to be the most popular. These are part of the Level 2 - Create Series workshops.
