LOED has confirmed trade space in the manufacturing industry's largest combined exhibition - National Manufacturing Week & Austech 2010 at Homebush in Sydney 11-14 May.
The manufacturing sector continues to be a major employer in Logan City. LOED has confirmed trade space at the manufacturing industry's largest combined exhibition - National Manufacturing Week and Austech held at Homebush in Sydney 11-14 May.
The Austech event is being coordinated by Australian Manufacturing Technology Institute Limited (AMTIL), the peak national body that represents the interests of manufacturing technology suppliers and users within the precision engineering and advanced manufacturing sector.
LOED are coordinating a program for the city's manufacturing industry to assist in promoting Logan's capabilities to potential customers and marketing Logan as a highly desirable destination to invest in. The trade space will serve as an information kiosk to showcase to exhibitors and delegates what Logan manufacturers have to offer and opportunities to invest in Logan.
The program will include:
- Attendance at the trade event to showcase Logan's capabilities and discuss opportunities for interstate and international manufacturers;
- Meeting with prospective manufacturers (delegates and exhibitors) from the exhibition looking at expansion into Southeast Queensland and looking to source capabilities and opportunities that Logan manufacturers possess; and
- Meeting with food manufacturers and advanced manufacturers in Sydney considering expansion or relocation to Southeast Queensland.
Logan based advanced manufacturers are encouraged to register their interest prior to 15 April 2010 to attend the exhibition in partnership with LOED where they can utilise the services of LOED and the trade space to showcase their products and services.
