Queensland Major Projects Conference - 19 October 2010
The Major Projects Conference 2010, hosted by the Department of Infrastructure and Planning, will take place on 19 October 2010 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, Australia.
The Major Projects Conference is the established and respected industry event that showcases Queensland's current and future major projects.
In keeping with the Queensland Government's vision for Queensland through Toward Q2: Tomorrow's Queensland, the Major Projects Conference 2010 will reflect the five ambitions of strong, green, smart, healthy and fair throughout this one-day, annual event. As Queensland's population continues to grow, we must maintain sustainable economic and social development and deliver essential infrastructure.
The challenge is to stimulate and streamline projects which support job creation-including land development and infrastructure delivery, and planning and preparing adequate supplies of industrial land-while applying the principles of sustainable development.
This year's conference program will focus on Queensland's planned, committed and current projects, and highlight how these major projects support the state's continued economic, sustainable and social development.
Who should attend the Major Projects Conference 2010
Professionals from state and local governments, construction, infrastructure, project management, water, transportation, roads, energy, mining, property development, health, planning and design, and tourism will find the Major Projects Conference 2010 invaluable to attend. Suppliers to major projects including financial, accounting, legal, communications and PR, consultants and project management firms will also find the conference of interest.
