101FM Live & Local Expo - Don't miss out!
The 101FM Live & Local Expo is back again in March 2011and will be even bigger and better than ever. Proudly supporting the Think Local Act Logan initiative this is a unique opportunity for local businesses to connect with other local businesses and to connect with the vibrant and diverse community of Logan.
The Live and Local Expo is a collaborative initiative of 101FM and Logan City Council, along with the combined Chambers of Commerce - Logan County Chamber, the Logan Chamber and the Beenleigh Yatala Chamber of Commerce. The Live & Local Expo is the only one of its kind in Logan, and is designed to allow local business to showcase themselves in a forum where they can connect with others whilst featuring their and services.
The Live & Local Expo will be held from March 17 to 19, 2011 at the Logan Metre Indoor Sports Centre, which is located 357 Browns Plains Road in Crestmead. The Expo will begin with a Speed Networking function held on Thursday evening, followed on Friday morning with a combined chamber breakfast and business forums. Friday afternoon will give exhibitors the chance to have their booths open to exhibit to other businesses and representatives visiting the Expo. Friday evening will conclude with a cocktail function for exhibitors, business contacts and guests. On Saturday the doors will be opened for the Logan general public to visit the Expo, giving them the opportunity to learn more about our Logan businesses. Throughout the day on Saturday, entertainment in the centre will be provided by the New Ground Festival and sponsors will have the opportunity to have their business showcased live to air on 101FM.
140 booths are available to business for the 2011 Live & Local expo, but vacancies are filling fast, so now is the time to act to be involved in this fantastic event. The event is sure to be popular with Logan residents, as this year they have the opportunity to win a Kia Rio kindly supplied by the Highway Auto Group.
