Business Diversification Seminar
The Logan Office of Economic Development together with Ipswich City Council and Westpac, co-sponsored a business diversification workshop for businesses affected by the insulation rebate withdrawal in the evening of Monday 6 September at the Brookwater Golf Club in Ipswich.
The event was coordinated by Tony Axford, Manager at the Business Enterprise Centre (BEC) Ipswich Region Inc. and included a special presentation 'Introducing Business Freedom: Preparation for Diversification' by guest speaker and business mentor Mr Tim Stokes. Both Deputy Mayor Cr Russell Lutton from Logan City Council and Cr Sheila Ireland from Ipswich City Council were there to support local businesses.
This event attracted businesses from both Ipswich and Logan regions providing them with valuable information to assist them in diversifying their focus to meet other needs within their target markets.
