LIONS@springwood Grand Opening 27 November 2010
Jonathan Brown and Simon Black from the Brisbane Lions were on hand to officially open the new LIONS@springwood Social Club last Saturday.
Lions Social Club General Manager, Mr Paul McGuire said "studies completed showed more than 8000 of the 27,000 Lions members were from the south..." and that made Springwood the ideal, central location for the new club.
Several Lions players were present greeting their fans and signing autographs.
The Brisbane Lions have commited to fund raising for Logan's local football clubs as well as providing traineeships to local high school students and thereby helping to increase local employment opportunities.
